The Scotsman AFC 80 Self Contained Cubelet Ice Maker produces Cubelet Ice which is compressed to remove excess residual water reducing it to as low as 10% of its original volume.
We recommend the Scotsman AP3-S Water Filter accessory with this unit which comes complete with head adaptors and scale inhibitor to ensure a long lifetime for the unit and less chance of it breaking down.
